ArcNC Helped Us Put Our Welding Robot to Work

At DGS PS, we specialize in designing and building complete slaughter lines for the food industry, working extensively with stainless steel. Every weld must be flawless to prevent bacterial growth, making precision and efficiency critical in our process.

We had invested in a Valk Welding robot in 2023, but it remained largely unused because programming was too complex and time-consuming. That changed when we discovered ArcNC through a video on LinkedIn. The clear step-by-step explanations convinced us to give it a try.

With an online tutorial, we created our first program in no time. A few weeks later, we had a more in-depth Q&A session, further refining our understanding. Soon, we were reliably producing parts. One beautiful example was welding a stainless steel tube with a perfectly smooth seam.  The weld quality was outstanding, proving that robotic welding can deliver the precision we need, even for demanding stainless steel applications.

The biggest advantage? We can now cost-effectively weld small batches. In the past, manual programming took too much time for limited runs, leaving the robot unused. With ArcNC, we can quickly test feasibility, adjust when needed, and have a program ready in no time. Simple parts are welded within an hour, giving us significant time savings.
