You’ll need a fully functional and measured-in welding robot cell (including external axes) with an up-to-date 3D CAD model. The torch should be equipped with a wire brake for accurate sensing, unless it supports active wire movement control (e.g., Fronius CMT, EWM React, Panasonic S-AWP). Additionally, provide a 3D .STEP file of the assembly to be welded and a .STEP or .stl file of all jigs and clamps—these can also be created using a professional 3D scanner if digital models are not available.

ArcNC supports most robots from Panasonic, ABB, Yaskawa, Fanuc, and KUKA. For particularly old robots (more than 15 years old), please contact info@arcnc.com to verify compatibility. Support for other robot brands may also be available upon request.

Unlike traditional Offline Programming solutions, ArcNC generates the robot motions for you. It automatically avoids collisions, robot joint limits, singularities and cable management issues.
