Frisomat to higher (robot) gear with ArcNC
"Creating a program with ArcNC is very easy; programming time is six times shorter than before," says Stijn De Pooter, Research and Development Engineer at Frisomat.
Due to the increased part variety and the ever-decreasing programming capacity, Frisomat is now also taking the step of automating programming with ArcNC. This completely new way of creating welding programs allows the company to easily create robot programs for new parts.
Stijn De Pooter continues: "Because many more small series are suddenly being considered for the robot, the system already has an OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) of over 80%. And that's how it should be!"
